House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 138, of
Article 20, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Som-
erset county, sub-title "Liquor and Intoxicating
Drinks," and re-enact in lieu thereof the following.
Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by
yeas and nays, with proposed amendments:"
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Section 1. After the words "be it enacted," insert
the words, "by the General Assembly of Maryland."
Also in line 2, of section 1, strike out the word
"one."
Also in line 17, strike out "ninety," and insert
"sixty."
Also strike out from the word "days," in line 17,
down to and in line 22
Which were concurred in.
Said bill, as amended, was then passed by yeas an d
nays, as follows:

Strong, Wilson, Brashears, Donaldson, Hutchins, Sap-
pington, of Anne Arundel, Ireland, Lane, Carrico,

monier, Leonard, Anderson, Sterling, Meredith, Smith,
of Dorchester, Miles, Kirk, Grove, of Cecil, Bowie,
of Prince George's, Hill, Perrie, Bryan, Wallen, Hay-
man, McSherry, Gaver, Grove, of Frederick, Sapping
ton, of Frederick, Hayward, Deen, Johnson, Thomp-
son, Fuld, Fox, Carter, Field, O'Conor, Gallagher,

NEGATIVE—None.
Also,
House bill entitled an Act to prohibit the issuing
of any license for the sale of spirituous or fermented
liquors or lager beer at or within one-half mile of
Narrow's Park, as now inclosed, the terminus of Lilt
Cumberland Electric Railway, located on the line of
the National Turnpike road about two miles west of
the City of Cumberland, in Allegany county, and to
provide for the sale of all kinds of intoxicating drinks
in the above described limits.
Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by
yeas and nays, with proposed amendments."
