porate powers to the Cumberland Loan and Spring
Association.

House bill entitled an Act to prohibit the granting
of license for the sale of spirituous or fermented
liquors or lager beer at any place within one half mile
in any direction from the town of Brunswick, in Fred-
erick county, Maryland.
Which was read a second time.
The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:
House bill entitled an Act to empower the County
Commissioners of Prince George's county to levy a
sum of money for the building of a school house for
white children near Hyde's store, in the Fourth Elec-
tion District of Prince George's county.
Also,
House bill entitled an Act to enable the University
Club of Baltimore to issue bonds for the purchase and
improvement of its club building.
