by the Act of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1890, chapter 254, entitled an Act to prevent Life In-
surance Companies, incorporated under the laws of
other States or countries and doing business in the
State of Maryland, from making or permitting any dis-
tinction or discrimination in favor of individuals of
the same class, and equal expectation of life in the
amount of payment of premiums or rate charged for
policies of life endowment insurance, and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

Mr. Joyce, from the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to amend and re-enact
section 1, of chapter 100, of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed at its December Ses-
sion, 1840, relating to the incorporation of Chosen
Friend Lodge, of No. 34, of the Order of Independent
Odd Fellows, and to grant additional powers to said
corporation.

Also, favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its January
Session of 1890, chapter 505, entitled an Act to incor-
porate the Baltimore, South Baltimore and Curtis
Bay Railroad Company, so that the corporate title of
said corporation shall hereinafter be the Baltimore and
Curtis Bay Railway Company, and to add an ad-
ditional section to said Act, to be designated as sec-
tion 15.
