Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money for the purpose of thoroughly repairing, re-
painting, frescoing and refurnishing the Executive
Mansion.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to prohibit fast driving
or riding on or over the Highway Bridge, across the
Potomac River, at Hancock, Maryland, of the Han-
cock Bridge Company of Washington county.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Washington County Delegation.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to be added to the Code
of Public Local Laws, Article 4, title "City of Balti-
more," sub-title "Courts," an additional section pro-
viding for a stenographer to the Grand Jury of Balti-
more city, section to be known as "Section 207 A,"
and to come in after section 207.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Baltimore City Delegation.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Gov-
ernor of the State to sign, execute and acknowledge a
deed conveying to the Canton Company of Baltimore
any interests of the State in a lot in Canton, in the
city of Baltimore, granted to the State for a hay
scales on conditions.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Liquor and In-
toxicating; Drinks," concerning the arrangement of
licensed premises, to come in after section 653 U, and
to be known as "Section 653 V."
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
