On motion of Mr. Fuld,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to prevent
bogus sales, and to prevent and punish fraud in sales
of goods, wares and merchandise at public or private
sale by itinerant vendors, and to regulate such sale.
On motion of Mr. Fitzgerald,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act for the re-
lief of the Southern Homoeopathic Medical College of
Baltimore, by appropriating a sum of money therefor.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add an addi-
tional section to Article 4, Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore," sub title "Jail," to be known as
section 567 A, authorizing the Mayor of Baltimore
city to release prisoners from the jail of said city
under certain circumstances.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to prohibit the lay-
ing of railway tracks upon Mt. Royal avenue, between
Guilford avenue and North avenue, und upon Cathe-
dral street, between Saratoga street and Mt. Royal
avenue, in Baltimore city, without the consent of the
General Assembly.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add an addi-
tional section to Article 4, Public Local Laws, title
"City of Baltimore, ' sub-title "Licenses," to be
known as section 664 A, authorizing the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore to license and regulate tele-
graph, telephone and electric light poles in the streets,
lanes and alleys of said city.
On motion of Mr. Gallagher,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Amendments
to the Constitution to introduce a bill entitled an Act
to amend Article 4, section 39, of the Constitution of
Maryland.
