On motion of Mr. Carter,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to give and grant
the sanction to the bequest of Agnes Dougherty, to
Saint Agnes Hospital of the City of Baltimore.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corpora-
tions to introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend and
add certain additional sections to chapter 479, of the
Acts of 1890, amending the charter of the Chesapeake
Bank and enlarging its corporate powers and fran-
chises and changing its name to the Chesapeake Bank
and Trust Company.
On motion of Mr. Fitzgerald,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section
650, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Liquor
and Intoxicating Drinks."
On motion of Mr. Sams,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corpora-
tions to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal sec-
tion 768, Article 4, Code of Public Local Laws, en-
titled "City of Baltimore," sab-title "Railroads,"
and re-enact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Smith, of Washington,
Leave was granted to the Washington County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal sec-
tion 31, of Article 22, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
entitled "Washington County," sub-title "Biids and
Game," and to re-enact the same with amendments.
