Mr. Shafer, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,
House bill entitled an Act to empower the Burgess
and Commissioneis of Boonsborough, in Washington
county, to purchase a water supply and to levy for
the same.
Which was read a first time.

The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor
and Common Council of the City of Westminster to
issue its bonds or certificates of indebtedness to the
amount not exceeding fifteen thousand dollars, for the
purpose of providing means for the grading, paving
or macadamizing the bti eets in the city of Westmin-
ster, and construction of sewers.
Also,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to appro-
priate a sum of money to pay for the use of a suitable
building to be occupied by the members of the Veteran:
Volunteer Firemen's Association of Baltimore city.
Also,
House bill entitled an Act to pay the claim of J. H.
Medairy and Company for stationery furnished the
Executive and Legislative Departments, Court of Ap-
peals and State Library for 1891 and 1892.
Also,
House bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
he M. J. Grove Lime Company of Frederick county,
by authorizing the said company to purchase and hold
lands in this and other States, Districts and Terri-
tories of the United States and for other purposes
and to perpetuate the existence of said corporation.
Also,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 274 to
297, inclusive, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Primary-
Elections."
