Leave was granted to the Queen Anne's County
Delegation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to re-
peal section 131, of Article 18, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Queen Anne's County," sub-title
"County Commissioners," and to re-enact the same
with amendments, and to add additional sections to
said sub title, to be designated as "Sections 131 A, B,
C, D and E," so as to provide for the election of a
treasurer for Queen Anne's county by the qualified
voters of said county.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Queen Anne's County
Delegation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal
section 129, of Article 18, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Queen Anne's County," sub-title "County
Commissioners," and to re enact the same with amend-
ments.
On motion of Mr. Sappington, of Anne Arundel,
Leave was granted to the Annne Arundel County
Delegation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to pro-
hibit the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or
lager beer within one mile of Holly Run Methodist
Protestant Church, in the Fifth Election District of
Anne Arundel county, Maryland.
On motion of Mr. Bevard,
Leave was granted to the Harford County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize the
County Commissioners of Harford county to grant a
pension to Charles C. Smith of said county.
On motion of Mr. Garner,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Temperance
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend the liquor
license laws of St. Mary's county.
On motion of Mr. Leonard,
Leave was granted to the Talbot and Dorchester
County Delegations to introduce a bill entitled an Act
to prohibit the taking or catching of crabs with scoop,
scrape or dredge, in the waters of the Great Choptank
river.
On motion of Mr. Stottlemyer,
Leave was granted to the Allegany County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to prohibit the
sale of intoxicating drinks on the grounds of Narrow's
