Mr. Carter submitted the following order viz:
Whereas, In consequence of the change of the rues
of the House oi Delegates, the primer is required to
print bills upon their introduction, much additional
work has been imposed upon the printer; therefore, be
it
Ordered, That the Commitiee on Claims pay the
State Printer the sum of eleven hundred and forty
dollars, being compensation for printing said extra
bills.
Which was read, and adopted by yeas and nays, as
follows:

LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Sappington, of Frederick,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal sec-
tion 136, of Article 37, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title
"Gunning." and to re-enact the same with amend-
