Senate Joint Resolution requesting the Governor to
issue his commission to Hon. Arthur P. Gorman.
Which was read a first time and referred to the
Committee on Federal Relations.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Acr, to authorize and direct
the County Commissioners of Montgomery county to
refund to Sarah A. Elliott, of said county, a certain
sum of money for taxes erroneously paid to said
County Commissioners by her.
Which was read a first time and referred to the
Montgomery County Delegation.
Also,
Joint Resolution authorizing the destruction of the-
bonds of the Exchange Loan of 1899, acquired by the
exchange of the preferred stocks of the Baltimore and
Ohio Railroad Company, as authorized by Article 12,
section 3, of the Constitution.
Which was read a first time and referred to Commit-
tee on Ways and Means.
Also,
Senate Joint Resolution authorizing the destruction,
of the bonds known as the "Treasury Relief Loan
Bonds," held by the Treasury for the sinking funds
and the transfer of stocks and bonds from the sinking
fund known as the " Treasury Relief Loan Sinking
Fund to the Defence Redemption Loan Sinking
Fund."
Which was read a first time and referred to Com-
mittee on Ways and Means.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 21, of
Article 10, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Dorchester County," sub-title "Almshouse," and to
re-enact the same with amendments, and to add an
additional section thereto.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Dorchester Delegation.
