The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:
House bill entitled an Act for the relief of the
sureties upon the official bonds of Stevenson Archer,
late Treasurer of Maryland, and for the settlement of
its litigation on said bonds.
Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by
yeas and nays."

Gentlemen of the Rouse of Delegates :
We have received your message refusing to concur
in amendments proposed by the Senate to House bill
entitled an Act to repeal section 810, of Article 4, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of Balti-
more," sub-title "Streets, Bridges and Highways,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments, requesting
this body to recede from the amendments proposed by
it.
In compliance with the request of the House, the
Senate has receded from said amendments and here-
with returns said bill.
