On motion of Mr. Hill, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Perrie be excused from attend-
ance for to-day, on account of the death of his brother.
On motion of Mr Elliott, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Cole be excused from to-night's
session, on account of sickness.
On motion of Mr. Sellman, it was
Ordered, That Col. James G. Berret be excused
from a'tending to-night's session.
On motion of Mr. Schlaffer, it was
Oldered, That the State Printer be, and he is
hereby ordered and directed to mail to his Honor,
Mayor Latrobe, of Baltimore city, a copy of the Jour-
nal of each day's proceedings of this House, and that
the Committee on Claims furnish the necessary stamps
for mailing said Journal.
On motion of Mr. Bittinger, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Michaels be excused from attend-
ance on this session, on account of sickness.

LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion Mr. Laird,
Leave was granted to the Montgomery Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize and
empower the President, Managers and Company of
the Washington Turnpike Company to convey to the
Tenallytown and Rockville Railroad Company of
Montgomery county, Maryland, a portion of the turn-
pike road in Montgomery county, Maryland, con-
structed by the said President, Managers and Com-
pany of the Washington Turnpike Company.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Inspections
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments, section twelve, of Article 43,
of the Code of Public General Laws title "Inspec-
tions," sub title "Tobacco," as the same was repealed
and re-enacted by chapter 262, of the Acts of 1890,
and to add an additional section to said Article, under
said sub-title, to be known as "Section 12 A," pro-
viding for the storage of goods, wares and merchandize
in the unused tobacco warehouses.
