1039 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 23,
Code of Public General Laws, title "Elections," as
enacted by Acts of 1800, chapter 538.
"Endorsed: Considered, read the third time and
failed Cor want of a constitutional majority, by yeas
and anys vote, by which bill failed for want of a con-
titutional majority reconsidered, and bill passed by
yeas and nays."
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 18, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Queen Anne's
County," sub-title "Elections, Primary," by repealing
sections 152 and 153, thereof, and re-enacting the same
with amendments, and by adding four additional sec-
tions thereto, to be numbered 153 A.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Queen Anne's County Delegation.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 41 to
47, inclusive, of Article 23, of the Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "Wicomico County," sub-title
"Fences."
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Wicomico County Delegation.
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 412, of
Article 8, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Cecil County," sub-title "Sales of Spirituous or
Fermented Liquors," as enacted by chapter 474, of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1890, and re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Cecil County Delegation.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, Article 45, title
"Husband and Wife," by adding an additional sec-
tion thereto, to be known as section 20, under the
sub-title of an Act to quit the title to property pass-
ing from "Husband to Wife."
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.
