Joint resolution authorizing the Attorney General to
|

employ counsel to assist him in the defense of William
|
|
|
|
Marsh, a citizen of Maryland, now held by the authorities
|
|
|
|
of Virginia for trial for alleged violation of the oyster laws
|
|
|
|
of the said State of Virginia.

|
|
WHEREAS, under the compact between the States of Mary-
|
|
|

offense is committed in the waters betweeu the said States,

where the boundary lines have not been buoyed and

marked off, the offender shall be tried in the State of which

WHEREAS, on or about the fifth day of January eighteen

|
|
|
hundred and ninety-one, certain vessels were alleged to

for its citizens so delivered up to the authorities of sister

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
