CHAPTER 683.
|
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to appropriate a certain sum of money to meet
|
|
|
|
|
the expenses of an extra session of the Senate of Maryland
|
|
|
|
|
to confirm certain executive appointments.
|
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The passage of the assessment bill by the
|
|
|
|
|
present Legislature, may make it necessary for the Governor
|
Preamble.
|
|
|
|
to convene the Senate of Maryland in extra session, now
|
|
|
|
|
therefore,
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
|
Maryland, That the sum of twenty-five hundred dollars, or
|
Appro-
priation
|
|
|
|
so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is
|
for extra
session of
|
|
|
|
hereby appropriated to pay the members of the Senate
|
Senate
|
|
|
|
including mileage and per diem and other necessary
|
|
|
|
|
expenses incident to said extra session.
|
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That the Treasurer of the State
|
|
|
|
|
shall, on the warrant of the Comptroller, disburse the said
|
Treasurer
to

|
|
|
sum of money herein appropriated for the objects and pur-
|
disburse.
|
|
|
|
poses herein specified, to or upon the order of the person or
|
|
|

persons entitled to receive the same.
|
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

AN ACT to add a section to article 21 of the Code of Public

|
|
|
General Laws, title "Conveyancing" to be known as

|
|
|
section 88.
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
|
Maryland, That the following section be added to article
|

21, title "Conveyancing," of the Code of Public General
|
|
|
|
|
Laws, to be numbered 88.
|
|
|
|
|
88. Any devise, gift, grant or conveyance of land in this
|
|
|
|
|
State, binding on any street or highway, or when any street

or highway shall be one or more of the lines thereof, the
