vent the spread of infectious or contagious diseases among


live stock, ten thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may


be necessary ; for clerical services rendered State Board of


Appeal, two hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be


necessary ; for the rent of boxes at the Safe Deposit Com-


pany, for the use of the Treasury Department, one hundred


dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary ; to the


mayor of the city of Annapolis, for the use of the fire


department of said city, one hundred and fifty dollars ; for


support of insane convicts, as provided for by chapter 123


of the acts of 1890, the sum of fifteen hundred dollars, or


so much thereof as may be neecessary ; to Geo. B. Oswald,


clerk of the Circuit Court for Washington County, one hun-


dred and twenty -three dollars and fifty cents ($123.50) for


the cost of the transcript of the record to the Court of


Appeals, in the appeal prayed by the State of Maryland in


the case of Geo. S. Brown and others against the Chesa-


peake and Ohio Canal Company, the State of Maryland and


others, as decided by the Court of Appeals against the State


and costs decreed against the State ; to the order of the


chairman of the joint committee of the Senate and House


of Delegates to visit Virginia and meet a similar committee


of the Legislature of Virginia in reference to the matter of


catching oysters, crabs and fish in the waters of Potomac


and Pocomoke Rivers and to confer on the question of the


boundary line on the southern side of the Potomac, five


hundred dollars or so much thereof as is necessary, and the


said chairman shall report to the next General Assembly


the amount expended and the vouchers.


PUBLIC DEBT.

Public

For the payment of the interest on the public debt of the

debt.

State, the sum of three hundred and fifty thousand dollars,


or so much thereof as may be necessary.


SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer of the


State, shall ou the warrant of the Comptroller, disburse the
