City to twenty, and that said twelve directors shall have


power to elect the additional eight, required to fill up said


board of twenty directors, and said twenty directors, shall


serve as the directors of said City Savings' Bank of Balti-


more City until the first Monday of May eighteen hundred


and ninety-two, or until their successors are duly elected


and qualified.


SEC. 3. And be it further enacted. That whenever any

deposit, shall be made by any minor, the directors of said


City Savings' Bank of Baltimore City, may at their discre-


tion, pay such sums as be due to him or her, as though no


guardian shall have been appointed for such minor, or the


guardian of such minor shall not have authorized the draw-


ing of the same, and the check receipt or acquaintance of


such minor shall be as valid as if the same was executed


by a guardian of such minor or the said Minor was of full


age, provided such deposit was made personally by said


minor, and whenever any deposit shall have been made by


a married woman, may repay the same on her own receipt.

Effective.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this act shall


take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 669.


AN ACT to repeal section 26 of article 19 of the Code of


Public Local Laws, title "St. Mary's County," sub-title


" County Commissioners," to re-enact the same with


amendment, and to add new sections thereto, to be des-


nated as sections 26 A, 26 B and 26 C.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That section 26 of article 19 Code of Public Local

Amend-
ment.
