license being granted, it shall not authorize him to sell a


less quantity than a pint, or permit the same to be drunk


on his premises when bought ; the same certificate shall be


sufficient for the clerk to issue an oyster house and liquor


trader's license to the same individual or firm, if approved


by him, and on the applicant complying with the require-


ments of his law and paying the amount required for oyster


house and liquor trader's license.


74. Any person to whom the said clerk shall issue a


license to keep an inn or tavern, or a license under section

sixty -nine, or under section seventy of the said article as

licenses

amended, shall pay to the said clerk the sum of twenty-five


dollars ($25.00) to be paid to the State for each of the said


licenses, and the further sum of seventy-five dollars ($75.00)


on each license issued, the said latter sum to be paid by the


clerk to the board of county school commissioners of the


said county for the use of the public schools of said county ;


provided, that nothing in this act shall apply to election


district number four (Pittsburg) of said county.


SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

CHAPTER 668.


AN ACT to amend the charter of the City Savings' Bank of


Baltimore City, formerly the Peabody Savings' Institu-


tion of Baltimore City in respect to its directors, and to


amend the powers of said corporation.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That the City Savings' Bank of Baltimore City,


formerly the Peabody Savings' Institution of Baltimore

New

City, a corporation duly formed under the provisions of

powers.

by it under its certificate of incorporation, which are hereby


ratified and confirmed, shall have and possess the further
