CHAPTER 662.


AN ACT to repeal sections A, B. C, D, E, F, G, H and K,


of article twenty of the Code of Public Local Laws, title


" Somerset County " sub-title "Oysters," as the same


appear in chapter, two hundred and sixty-nine of the


acts of eighteen hundred and ninety.


SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That sections A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H and K of


article twenty of the Code of Public Local Laws, title


" Somerset County " sub-title "Oysters," as said sections


appear in chapter two hundred and sixty-nine of the acts


of eighteen hundred and ninety be and the same are hereby

who shall have planted oysters under the provisions of said


chapter two hundred and sixty-nine of the acts of eighteen

such oysters, so planted, on or before the first day of January


eighteen hundred and ninety-four, and the occupants of lots


located under the sections hereby repealed shall have such


protection for their rights in said lots as is now provided


for the occupants of lots located under article 72 of the Code


of Public General Laws of Maryland by section 41 of said


article, until the expiration of the time given and fixed by


this section.

CHAPTER 663.


AN ACT to repeal and amend and re-enact section forty-


two, of article twenty-one, of the Code of Public General


Laws, entitled "Conveyancing" sub-title "Bill of Sale,"


relating to acknowledgements of bills of sale.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Repealed.

Maryland, That section forty -two of article twenty-one of


the Code of Public General Laws, title "Conveyancing,"


sub-title "Bills of Sale," be and the same is hereby repealed


and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

Bill of sale.

SEC. 42. A bill of sale or chattel mortgage, if acknowl-


edged within this State, may be acknowledged before any
