CHAPTER 664.


AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section-


two hundred and eleven of article twenty-three of the-


Code of Public General Laws, title "Corporations "sub-


title, " Religious Corporations."


SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland. That section two hundred and eleven of article

the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-


ments, as follows :


211. The said plan, agreement or regulation shall be

of the peace, a notary public, or a judge of the Circuit Court


in the counties, or a judge of the supreme bench of Baltimore


City ; and such justice, notary, or judge shall append to said


instrument a certificate of such acknowledgment, and in


all cases where through inadvertence or mistake, such


plan, agreement, or regulation has been heretofore acknowl-


edged before one justice of the peace instead of two, such


acknowledgment shall be and is hereby made, to all intents


and purposes, good and sufficient for the incorporation of


the church, society or congregation named therein.


SEC. 6. And be it enacted. That this act shall take effect

CHAPTER 665.

AN ACT to authorize the County Comrnissiouers of Queen
Anne's County to furnish all police officers of said county
official badges to be worn upon the person of said officer
whenever in the discharge of their duties.

Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's
