CHAPTER 584.


AN ACT to authorize aud empower the County Commis-


sioners of Prince George's County to purchase from the


stockholders of the District of Columbia and Upper


Marlboro' Turnpike Company all the property and the


rights, privileges and franchises of said corporation to be


used as one of the public roads of said county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-


land, That the County Commissioners of Prince George's


County be and they are hereby authorized, empowered and

AN ACT to prohibit the granting of licenses for the sale of


spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer at any place


within one-half mile in every direction from the town of


Brunswick in Frederick County, Maryland.


SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That hereafter it shall not be lawful for the clerk.
