and the sheriff, and Register of Wills thereof, who shall


immediately certify to the same and the result thereof in


writing under their hands and seals in duplicate one of said


duplicates to be filed and recorded in the clerk's office of the


said county and the other to be transmitted to the Secretary


of the State, unless said three commissioners can settle and


determine the same among themselves within the period of


thirty days from the date that this law shall go into effect,


in which event they shall certify to the same in writing


under their hands and seals in duplicate, one of which shall


be filed with the clerk of said county as aforesaid, and the


other transmitted to the Secretary of the State, whereupon


commission shall be issued in accordance with said allot-


ment of terms by lot or agreement as aforesaid.


SEC. 2. And be if enacted, That at the expiration of the


two year term as hereinbefore provided, at the general elec-


tion that will then come, a county commissioner to succeed


the county commissioner whose term will then expire, shall

be elected to serve for the term of six years or until his

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That no County Commissioner

have power to fill the vacancy until the next general
