from the issuance of tongue license in said county, to cut


and open a canal between Synepuxent Bay and the Atlantic


ocean, at or near where Green Run Inlet formerly was, and


that said money shall be expended under the supervision of


the board of county commissioners.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

AN ACT to amend article 18 of the Code of Public Local


Laws of the State of Maryland, title "Queen Anne's


County," by adding a new sub-title thereto of "Queens-


town." and certain additional sections thereto under said


sub-title to follow section 218 of said article and to be


known as 218 A, 218 B, 218 C, 218 D, 218 E, 218 F and


218 G, relating to and providing for the incorporation of


Queenstown, Queen Anne's County.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That article 18 of the Code of Public Local


Laws of Maryland, title " Queen Anne's County," be and

the same is hereby amended by adding thereto certain addi-


tional sections, to be classed under the sub-title "Queens-


town," and to follow section 218 of said article and to be


known as 218 A, 218 B, 218 C, 218 D, 218 E, 218 F, 218 G,

town, Queen Anne's County, and to read as follows :


218 A. The citizens and inhabitants of Queenstown,
