straight line northeast with the extreme southern boundary


of George Shepherd's land, thence due northeast with the


line of George Shepherd's property across the Wye Neck


public road, down said road toward the town until it reaches


the thorn hedge on the lower line of the farm of Hiram G.


Dudley, and following the boundary line of said farm until


it reaches the public road leading to Centreville and along


said road toward Centreville until it reaches the beginning


point on the Old Wharf Lane northwest and thence to the


point of beginning, and it shall be the duty of said "The


Commissioners of Queenstown" immediately after their


election and qualification to have said lines surveyed by


the county surveyor of Queen Anne's County with full


authority to correct any inaccuracies in this description and


to have same plated, which survey and plat when made


and certified to and filed in the office of the clerk of the


Circuit Court for Queen Anne's County shall be conclusive


as to the location and limits of said town.


518 C. All persons of twenty-one years of age and

upwards, owning property in said town, or who shall have

any election for town commissioners, being of twenty-one


years of age and upwards and who shall be qualified to vote


for delegates to the General Assembly of Maryland, shall be


entitled to vote for town commissioners, provided, they are


taxpayers on property located or held in said town, and any


resident property holder and taxpayer in said town of


twenty -one years and upwards, qualified to vote for delegates


to the General Assembly as aforesaid, shall be qualified to


hold the office of town commissioner, and the first election


for town commissioners under this law shall be held on the


first Monday in June, eighteen hundred and ninety-two, or


as soon thereafter as may be convenient, and annually there-


after, after ten days' notice of the time and place for holding


the same, at which said election three persons shall be


elected as town commissioners cf said town to hold office


for one year from the date of their election and until their


successors are elected and qualified, the first election under


this law shall be held under the supervision and control of


the judges of election of whom the chief judge shall be a


resident justice of the peace of said town, with two qualified


residents and voters of said town to be appointed by said


justice of the peace as associate judges, all of whom shall


take and subscribe on oath to fairly and impartially dis-


charge the duties of said office, and all succeeding elections


under the supervision and control of three judges to be


chosen and appointed by the retiring commissioners of said
