CHAPTER 540.


AN ACT to repeal chapter seventeen of the acts of the


General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January


session eighteen hundred and ninety-two, entitled an act


to add two additional sections to article twenty-seven of


the Code of Public General Laws, title "Crimes and Pun-


ishments," sub-title "Railroad Obstructing," to follow


section two hundred and thirty-one, and to be known as


sections two hundred and thirty-one A, and two hundred


and thirty-one B.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Repealed.

Maryland, That chapter seventeen of the acts of the General


Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January session eigh-


teen hundred and ninety-two, entitled an act to add two


additional sections to article twenty -seven of the Code of


Public General Laws, title "Crimes and Punishments,"


sub-title "Railroad Obstructing," to be known as sections


two hundred and thirty -one A, and two hundred and thirty-


one B, be and the same is hereby repealed.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 541.


AN ACT authorizing the Board of County Commissioners


of Worcester County to appropriate the money now in


their hands and such further sum as may be collected for


the year eighteen hundred and ninety -two, from the issu-


ance of tongue license in said county, to cutting a canal


connecting the Synepuxent Bay with the Atlantic ocean


at or near a point where Green Run Inlet formerly was :


WHEREAS, the closing up of Green Run Inlet has very

materially affected the growing and cultivating of oysters,


&c., in Synepuxent Bay and it is deemed wise to again


connect this with the Atlantic ocean.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
