of forty-four dollars and fifty cents, to James A. Turner


assignee of R. M. Code, the sum of one hundred and two


dollars, to J. C. Snowden the sum of twenty-seven dollars


and ten cents, to A. T. Monroe assignee of J. K. Grenwell


the sum of one hundred dollars, to A. T. Monroe, assignee


of William H. Warren the sum of one hundred and fifty


three dollars and seventy-seven cents, and to Duke Bond


the sum of ninety dollars and fifty -five cents for work done


and services unpaid rendered as employees of State tobacco


warehouse number two, for the year eighteen hundred and


ninety, under Thomas H. Bond inspector at said warehouse ;


and to A. T. Monroe assignee of A. W. Soper the sum of


nineteen dollars, to J. E. Baden, the sum of twenty -two dol-


lars and thirty cents, and to L. B. Etchison the sum of


four dollars, to J. N. Walls the sum of two dollars, to N.


D. Taylor the sum of four dollars, to William Deale the


sum of six dollars and to G. W. Ryan the sum of three


dollars or to their respective assignees or attorneys, the


same being due and unpaid services rendered as employees


of State tobacco warehouse number one for the year eigh-


teen hundred and ninety under Charles S. Early, inspector


at said warehouse.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect


from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 491.


AN ACT to better protect fish and wild fowl in the waters


of Rumney Creek, Harford County, Maryland.


SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of

Fishing in
Rumey

Maryland, That it shall be unlawful for any person fishing

in the waters of Rumney Creek, Harford County, Maryland,


to use what are known as splash oi buck-nets.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall also be unlawful


for any person to beat or splash the waters of Rumney Creek

in any way with a view to driving fish into any kinds of net


or nets whatever, or for the purpose of driving or frighten-


ing the wild fowl feeding in said waters, from their feeding


grounds in said waters, by any noise calculated to frighten


and disturb them on said feeding grounds covered by the


waters of Rumney Creek.


SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That upon the information of


any citizen or resident of Bush River Neck or of the second
