CHAPTER 48.

AN ACT to limit the session of the grand jury in Balti-

|
more County.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
Maryland, That the limit of the session of the grand jury in
|

Baltimore County shall be ten days, but the Court may for

special reasons extend the session for five days longer.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act sliall take effect

CHAPTER 49.
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to repeal sections one hundred and eighty -eight to
|
|
|
|
two hundred and seventeen inclusive of article three of
|
|
|
|
the Code of Pubic Local Laws, title " Baltimore County,"
|
|
|
|
sub-title "Roads," and to enact the following in lieu
|
|
|
|
thereof.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
Maryland, That sections one hundred and eighty-eight to
|
|
|
|
two hundred and seventeen inclusive, of article three of the
|
|
|
|
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Baltimore County," sub-
|
|
|
|
title " Roads," be and the same are hereby repealed, and the
|
|
|
|
following provisions be substituted therefor.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 188. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
|
|
|
land, That the County Commissioners of Baltimore County
|
|
|
|
at their meeting next after the passage of this act, and at
|
|
|
|
tlieir first meetiug in January in every year thereafter, shall
|
|
|
|
appoint one road supervisor in each election district, to act
|
|
|
|
as such for one year from the time of his appointment, or
|
|
|
|
until his successor shall qualify, except in the case of appoint-

ment made in the year 1892, whose term sliall extend to the

next annual appointment as herein provided ; who shall give

bond to the County Commissioners conditioned for the faithful
