SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That said Register,

CHAPTER 423.

AN ACT to regulate the sale and the granting of license
|
|
|
|
|
for the sale of spirituous and fermented liquors in Carroll
|
|
|
|
|
County.
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
|
Maryland, That no person shall hereafter sell, offer for
|
|
|
|
|
sale or keep for sale, in Carroll County any intoxicating
|

|
|
liquors of any kind without having previously obtained a

|
|
license therefor as hereinafter provided, but this act shall
|
|
|
|
|
not apply to sales made by any person under a provision of
|
|
|
|
|
law requiring him to sell personal property or for sales of
|
|
|
|
|
cider or native wines by the makers thereof and not to be
|
|
|
|
|
drank on the premises.

|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all licenses to sell spirit-
|
|
|
|
|
uous and fermented liquors shall expire on the first day of
