AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sec-

tion 38 of article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of

Maryland, title "Cecil County," sub-title "Birds and
|
|
|
|
|
Game."
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
|
the State of Maryland, That section thirty-eight of article
|
Amend-
ment.
|
|
|
|
eight of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Cecil
|
|
|
|
|
County," sub-title " Birds and Game," be repealed and
|
|
|
|
|
re-enacted, with amendments, so as to read as follows :
|
|
|
|
|
SEC. 38. It shall not be lawful to shoot, trap or kill, or
|
|
|
|
|
in any manner destroy or expose for sale any partridge or
|

|
|
rabbit in Cecil County, between the tenth day of January
|

|
|
and the twentieth day of November, and in Harford County
|
kill par-
tridges and

|
|
|
between the twenty-sixth day of December and the fifteenth

rabbits in
Cecil

|
|
day of October ; nor any Woodcock between the first day

of January and the tenth day June in either of said coun-
|

|

ties ; nor any rail birds, or pheasants, between the first day
|
|
|
|
|
of February and the fifth day of September in each year, in
|
|
|
|
|
Cecil County ; nor any rail birds or pheasants between the
|
|
|
|
|
first day of February and the first day of September in each
|
|
|
|
|
year in Harford County ; and the possession of any of the
|
|
|
|
|
birds or game mentioned in this section during the prohib-
|
|
|
|
|
ited periods shall be deemed prima facie evidence against
|
|
|
|
|
such persons of a violation of this section, except when it
|
|
|
|
|
may appear that such birds or game are for breeding purposes.
|
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
