CHAPTER 410.


AN ACT to repeal and re-enact section 28 of article 56 of


the Code of Public General Laws, title " Licenses," sub-


title " Hawkers and Peddlers," so far as the same applies


to Prince George's County.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Amend-

Maryland, That section 28 of article 56 of the Code of

Peddlers." be and the same in hereby repealed and re-enacted


with amendments so as to read as follows :


28. For every such license, there shall be paid the follow-


ing rates, to-wit.:for every license to travel on foot, the

Hawkers'
and

sum of one hundred dollars ; to travel with a horse or other

peddlers'
licenses.

beast of burden, and wagon or other vehicle, the sum of


one hundred and fifty dollars; with two horses or other


beasts of burden and wagon, or other vehicle, the sum


of two hundred dollars; this section not to apply to


Garrett County. For such licenses in Prince George's


County, the fees shall be as follows, to wit : for every


license to travel on foot, the sum of two hundred dollars ;


to travel with a horse or other beast of burden and wagon,


or other vehicle, the sum of three hundred dollars; with two


horses or other beasts of burden and wagon or other vehicle,


the sum of three hundred dollars.

Effective

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect


from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 411.


AN ACT to repeal sections 305, 306, 307, 308, 309 of article


4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Mary-


land, entitled " City of Baltimore," sub-title "Fines and


Forfeitures," and to re-enact section 305 with amendments.


SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That sections 305, 306, 307, 308, 309 of article 4

Amend-
ment.

of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland,


title " City of Baltimore," sub-title " Fines and Forfeitures,"


be and the same are hereby repealed, and section 305


re-enacted with amendments.


305. One-halt of all fines adjudged by and accruing in
