CHAPTER 360.


AN ACT to repeal section one of chapter 176 of the acts of


1880, as said section is codified in article 2 of the Code of


Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel County," sub-


title " Wildfowl," and in article 17 of the Code of Public


Local Laws, title " Prince George's County," sub-title


"Wildfowl," said section being codified in said article 2


as section 244, and in article 17 as section 329, and to


re-enact the same with amendments, and to add a new


section to said article 2 and 17 to be designated in article


2 as section 244 A, and in article 17 to be designated as


section 329 A.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly oj

Amend-

Maryland, That section one of chapter 176 of the acts of

ments.

1880, codified in article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws,


title "Anne Arundel County," sub-title "Wildfowl," as


section 244, and as codified in article 17 of the Code of


Public Local Laws, title "Prince George's County," sub-


title " Wildfowl," as section 329, be and the same are hereby


repealed and re-enacted with amendments ; and a new


section be and the same is hereby added to said article 2


and 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws, to be designated,


as to article 2, as section 244 A, and as to article 17 as


section 329 A, to come in after section 244 of article 2, and


after 329 of Article 17, and to read as to said respective


sections as follows :


244 and 329. It shall not be lawful for any person or


persons, not actual residents of Anne Arundel and Prince
George's Counties, to shoot or trap, upon the waters of the

Patuxent River, its tributaries or the marshes thereof

bordering upon said counties, any goose, duck, snipe, or


tolan or other wildfowl, unless he or they shall have the


permission of the citizens or a majority of them adjacent or


contiguous to said marshes, and provided, that they shall


only employ in their shootiug such boats as are licensed for


that purpose, as hereinafter provided.


244 A and 329 A. Any person who shall push, paddle or


convey any person or persons, not residents of the counties

aforesaid, over the said river, tributaries and marshes


hereinbefore mentioned, for the purposes mentioned in the


preceding section, shall first apply to and obtain from the


clerks of the Circuit Courts for the respective counties in


which such applicant shall reside a license to push, paddle
