said land south sixty-eight degrees east, eighty-two and one-

half perches to the west side of the Opossumtown turnpike
|

|
|
road, thence diagonally across said turnpike road north sixty-

|
|
|
five and one-half degrees east, three and one-half perches
|
|
|
|
to the southwest corner of the lot aforesaid owned by Thomas
|
|
|
|
W. Morgan and running thence by and with the south side
|
|
|
|
thereof south eiglity-one degrees east, thirty-eight and forty-
|
|
|
|
seven one-hundredths perches to the first mentioned place
|
|
|
|
of beginning. Aud the Boulevard, streets, and avenues laid
|
|
|
|
out in that portion of the above described taxable limits
|
|
|
|
known as the north-western addition to Frederick shall be
|
|
|
|
and remain as at present located. And it shall be 'the duty
|
|
|
|
of the mayor and aldermen of Frederick to forthwith estab-
|
|
|
|
lish a grade for said Boulevard, streets and avenues and to
|
|
|
|
macademize the same ; to provide water facilities for the lots
|
|
|
|
lying on said Boulevard, streets, and avenues in the same
|
|
|
|
manner as are provided for the other portions of Frederick
|
|
|
|
City and to charge the same rates for the use of said water, and
|
|
|
|
the said mayor and aldermen shall have full power and
|
|
|
|
authority to assess, levy, and collect within said limits
|
|
|
|
any and all taxes whatsoever, which they were authorized
|
|
|
|
to assess, levy and collect within the taxable limits as
|
|
|
|
heretofore existing.
|
|
|
Effective.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
|
|
|
|
from the date of its passage.
|
|
|
|
