CHAPTER 346.


AN ACT to repeal certain sections of article twenty of the


Code of Public Local Laws, being the Local Code for


Somerset County sub-title " County Commissioners" and


sub-title ''Revenue and Taxes" and to enact other sec-


tions in lieu thereof respecting the term of office and


power of the County Commissioners.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That sections forty-one, forty-two, forty-three,
forty-eight, two hundred and seventeen and two hundred

re-enacted

and eighteen of article twenty of the Public Local Laws,


being the local laws for Somerset County be and the same


are hereby repealed and the following sections and provis-


ions are enacted in their stead to read as follows :


SEC. 41. The county is hereby divided into three com-

about the election of one commissioner every two years,

elected and qualified, and which of the board shall have


these several terms shall be determined by lot cast or drawn


in the presence of and by the direction of one of the judges
