CHAPTER 344.
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money for the purpose of
|
|
|
|
thoroughly repairing, repainting, frescoing and refurnish-
|
|
|
|
ing the executive mansion.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
Maryland, That the sum of ten thousand dollars, or so
|

much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is
|
executive
|
|
|
hereby appropriated for the purpose of thoroughly repair-
|
mansion
|
|
|
ing, repainting, frescoing and refurnishing the executive
|
|
|
|
mansion.
|

|

SEC. 2. And be it enacted That His Excellency, Frank
|
Governor
|
|
|
Brown, Governor of Maryland, be and he is hereby author-
|
to repair
|
|
|
ized to have the executive mansion thoroughly repaired,
|
mansion.
|
|
|
- repainted, frescoed and refurnished ; and the comptroller is
|
|
|
|
hereby directed to issue his warrant upon the treasurer for
|
|
|
|
such amounts as the Governor may require ; provided the
|
|
|
|
sum or sums so required shall not exceed in the aggregate, the
|
|
|
|
said sum of ten thousand dollars ; and the Governor shall
|
|
|
|
make return to the comptroller of the amount expended,
|
|
|
|
together with the vouchers for the same.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
|
