SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect


from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 291.


AN ACT to repeal section fourteen of article twenty -five of


the Code of Public General Laws title " County Com-


missioners," so far as the same relates to Talbot County


and to repeal section thirty-one of article twenty -one of


the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Talbot County,"


sub-title "County Commissioners — Compensation," and


to re-enact the last named section with amendments so


far as to fix the terms and compensation of the County


Commissioners of Talbot County.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That section fourteen of article twenty -five of the
