AN ACT to sanction the bequest of John Young of C., to the

Evangelical Lutheran Church of Frederick of the residue

of the testator's estate, to be applied to the Evangelical

Lutheran Sunday School of Frederick City, Frederick

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
|
Maryland, That the sanction and consent of the said Gen-

AN ACT to carry into effect section one of article seven of

|
|
|
the coustitution of Maryland, so far as the same relates
|
|
|
|
|
to Carroll County, and to repeal section 18 of article seven,
|
|
|
|
|
Code of Public Local Laws, title " Carroll County," sub-
|
|
|
|
|
title " County Commissioners," and to re-enact the same
|
|
|
|
|
with amendments.
|

|
|
|
SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
|
Maryland, That section eighteen of article seven, Code of
|
Amend-
ment.
|
|
|
|
Public Local Laws, title '' Carroll County, " sub -title '' County
|
|
|
|
|
Commissioners," be and the same is hereby repealed and
|
|
|
|
|
re-enacted so as to read as follows :
|
|
|
|
|
SEC. 18. There shall be three County Commissioners for
|
|
|
|
|
Carroll County, and of the three commissioners elected to
|

|
|
|
office on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in the
|
County
Commis-
|
|
|
|
month of November, eighteen hundred and ninety -one, one,
|
sioners
|
|
|
|
to wit, Hezekiah Hann, shall hold office for the space of two
|
|
|
|
|
years ; one, to wit, Joshua F. Caltvider, shall hold office for
|
|
|
|
|
the space of four years ; and one, to wit, David Stoner, shall
|
|
|
|
|
hold office for the space of six years, and all elections herd-
|
|
|
|
|
after to be held for County Commissioner of Carroll County,
|
|
|
|
|
the person elected shall hold office for a term of six years,
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
