CHAPTER 215.


AN ACT to make valid the appointment of register of


voters and the board of supervisors of elections in the city


of Hagerstown and the entries made, acts done and pro-


ceedings taken by said register of voters in attempted pur-


suance of the duties required of them respectively by the


provisions of chapter thirty-six of the Acts of the General


Assembly of Maryland passed its present January session,


(1892), entitled an act to repeal sections one hundred and


fifty-six and one hundred and fifty -nine of article twenty-


two of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Wash-


ington County," sub-title " Hagerstown," and to re-enact


the following in lieu thereof, in amending and revising


the charter of Hagerstown, and providing for the govern-


ment thereof, and to add new and additional sections, to


article twenty-two of the Code of Public Local Laws' title


"Washington County," sub-title "Hagerstown."


WHEREAS, by delay in the passage of chapter thirty-six


and chapter fifty-five of the Acts of the General Assembly
