CHAPTER 210.
|
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to amend an act entitled " An act to incorporate
|
|
|
|
|
the Baltimore Traction Company of Baltimore City " and
|
|
|
|
|
to enable said Company to use the electric power known
|
|
|
|
|
as the Trolley System for the propulsion of its cars upon
|
|
|
|
|
its railways.
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
|
Maryland, That the Baltimore Traction Company the incor-
|

poration incorporated by the act approved April fifth, eight-
|

be and it is hereby authorized and empowered to place and
|
|
|
|
|
use upon any or all of its railways, wherever situated, the
|
|
|
|
|
electric power known as the Trolley System for the propul-
|
|
|
|
|
sion of its cars.
|
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
|
|
|
|
|
from the date of its passage.
|

AN ACT to add six additional sections to article six of the

|
|
|
Code of Public Local Laws, title " Caroline County," sub-
|
|
|
|
|
title "County Treasurer," to follow section sixty-eight,
|
|
|
|
|
and to be called sixty-eight A, sixty -eight B, sixty-eight
|
|
|
|
|
C, sixty-eight D, sixty-eight E and sixty -eight F.
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
|
Maryland, That six new sections be added to article six of
|
|
|
|
|
the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Caroline County,"
|

and to be called sixty -eight A, sixty-eight B, sixty -eight C,
|

sixty -eight D, sixty -eight E and sixty -eight F, and to read

|
as follows :

|
|
|
68 A. It shall be the duty of the treasurer, in addition to
|

the duties now required of him, to collect all State and

county taxes to be hereafter levied in Caroline County, and

said treasurer shall assess all new or unassessed property in
