CHAPTER 203.
|

|
AN ACT to add a new section to article 17 of the Code of
|
|
|
|
Public Local Laws, title "Prince George's County," sub-
|
|
|
|
title "Roads," to follow immediately after section 278, to
|
|
|
|
be designated as section 278 A, and to repeal and re-en-
|
|
|
|
act with amendments section 280 of said article under
|
|
|
|
the same sub-title.
|

|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
Repeal and
re-enact-
|
Maryland, That a new section to follow immediately after
section 278 to be designated as section 278 A, of article 17
|
|
|
ment
|
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Prince George's
|
|
|
|
County," sub title " Roads," be and the same is hereby
|
|
|
|
added to said article, and that section 280 of said article
|
|
|
|
under the same sub-title be and the same is hereby repealed
|
|
|
|
and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as to said
|
|
|
|
respective sections as follows :
|
|
|
|
278 A. Whenever any road, now used as a private road,
|
|
|

shall be opened to public travel by the County Commis-

sioners, the owners of the lands through which such roads

pass shall have time, not to exceed two years, within which
|

the repairs of all roads and bridges in their districts, except

such bridges as the County Commissioners may deem it

advisable to repair by contract, and said supervisor or
|
|
|
|
supervisors shall give bond in such penalty and with such
|
|
|
|
security as the County Commissioners may fix and approve,
|
|
|
|
and with such conditions as they may prescribe in regard
|
|
|
|
|
|
