CHAPTER 204.

title " Crimes and Punishment," sub-title "Rape," and

SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That section two hundred and thirty-three of


article twenty-seven of the Code of Public General Laws,

repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :


SEC. 233. If any person shall carnally know and abuse any


woman child under the age of fourteen years, or knowingly
