CHAPTER 22.


AN ACT to repeal section two of chapter ninety-five of the


Acts of Assembly of Maryland of 1858, entitled "Au Act


to Incorporate the Maryland Club," passed February 24,


1858, and re-enact the same with amendments.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That section two of chapter ninety-five of the


Acts of Assembly of Maryland of 1858, entitled "An Act

Repeal

to Incorporate the Maryland Club," passed February 24,


1858, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, so


as to read as follows :


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said corporation


shall have the power of receiving subscriptions, donations,


devises and bequests of property, real, personal, mixed, or

of any interest therein, and of purchasing, leasing, or other-


wise acquiring such property for the uses of said corporation,


and of selling, pledging, mortgaging, or otherwise disposing


of the same, and of ratifying any disposition of property by


it heretofore sold, pledged, mortgaged, or otherwise dis-


posed of.


Provided, however, that the total clear net valne of the
