CHAPTER 114.


AN ACT to refund John H. Giles, late collector of State


taxes for the second collection district of Somerset County,


certain moneys paid by him into the treasury of the State.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That the comptroller of the treasury be and he

County, for the sum of one hundred and thirty-two dollars


and thirty-four cents, with interest thereon from the first


day January; eighteen hundred and ninety, being the sum


over paid by him into the State treasurer, the refunding


thereof having received the recommendation of the treasury


officials.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

CHAPTER 115.


AN ACT to prohibit the laying of railway tracks upon cer-


tain streets in the city of Baltimore, without the consent


of the General Assembly.


SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That it shall not be lawful for any person or cor-


poration to lay any railway tracks upon Mount Royal ave-

passenger railway company now incorporated, or that may


hereafter be incorporated, to cross any of said streets and


avenues where such railway company shall be authorized by


the mayor and city council of Baltimore to use any


street or avenue opening into any of the streets and avenues


named in this act.
