SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That said George T.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the said George


T. Melvin, his heirs and assigns, shall have full power and


authority, if he or they shall think proper to sell, lease,


mortgage or dispose of said bridge or right of landing, to


any person or persons, or body corporate or politic, who are


hereby authorized to purchase and liold the same, with all


the privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging and the


purchaser or purchasers thereof, their heirs, successors and


assignors, shall be and are hereby authorized and empowered

to erect, build and keep in repair the said bridge, and to


ask, demand and receive the like tolls as atoiesaid, for the


passage over said bridge, and in the same manner as if they


were severally named herein and as fully and effectually as


if they were the present proprietors thereof.


SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That at any time


hereafter it shall and may be lawful for the County Com-

missioners of Anne Arundel County, to assume, by resolution


or otherwise, the charge and keeping of the said bridge in


repair, upon such terms and conditions as may be agreed


upon, or to condemn the same according to law.

SEC. C. And be it further enacted, That this act shall


take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 10.


AN ACT to repeal Section 122 of Article 4, of the Public


Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Build-


ings," and to re-enact the same with amendments.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That section 122 of article 4 of the Public Local


Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Buildings," be

and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to


read as follows :


SEC. 122. The Mayor and .City Council of Baltimore

shall have power to regulate party walls, and partition


fences, and also the construction and inspection of all new


buildings hereafter erected in said city, and the alterations
