CHAPTER 60.


AN ACT to appropriate a sum , of money to pay J. H.


Medairy & Co. for printing sample official ballots for the


November election of 1890 and 1891, as provided in sec-


tion 138 and 160, chapter 538, of the acts of 1890, and also


for registration books.


SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That the Comptroller of the State be and he is


hereby authorized and directed to draw his warrant upon

To pay

the Treasurer of the State for ($5,424.47) fifty-four hundred


and twenty-four dollars and forty-seven cents in favor of J.


H. Medairy & Co., for printing tie sample official ballots


for the November election of 1890 and 1891, as provided in


section 138 and 160, chapter 538, of the acts of 1890, and


also for the registration books.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this act shall take effect.

In force.

from the date of its passage.


Approved March 8th, 1892.


CHAPTER 62.


AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section


23 of article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-


land, for Talbot County, sub-title, "Birds and Game."


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That section 23 of article 21 of the Code of Pub-

"Birds and Game," be and the same is hereby repealed.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That no person shall shoot, or


in any manner catch, kill, or have in their possession in


Talbot County, any partridge, between the thirty-first day

of December and the first day of November, inclusive, nor
any rabbit between the thirty-first day of December and


the first day of November, inclusive ; nor any Woodcock,


between the first day of January and the fourth day of July ;


nor any sora or water rail, or summer duck between the first


day of January and the tenth day of September; nor shall


any person, wilfully or maliciously trap any partridge or


destroy or molest the eggs of said birds at any time in said


county.


SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect,
