CHAPTER 111.


AN ACT to add an additional section to article eleven, of the


Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland, entitled


" Frederick county," sub-title " Frederick," to be known as


" Section one hundred and seventy A," to prohibit the sale of


intoxicating liquors in Frederick on the days of municipal elec-


tions therein.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

or give or dispose of any spirituous or fermented liquors, ale or


beer or intoxicating drinks of any kind on the day of any elec-


tion hereafter to be held in said city of Frederick, and any per-

dictment by the grand jury of Frederick county, and upon con-


viction shall be fined a sum not less than fifty dollars nor more


than two hundred dollars in the discretion of the court for each
