in a clear, systematic and business way, shall be at all times open
|
|
|
|
to the inspection of the tax -payers and citizens of said county ;
|
|
|
|
the expression "repair of bridges" in this section shall be appli-
|
|
|
|
cable only where the cost shall not exceed one-half the cost of the
|
|
|
|
entire structure.
|
|
|
|
288. The county commissioners shall appoint in and for each
|
|
|
|
road district three freeholders as a board of district road commis-
|
|
|
|
sioners, who shall serve without compensation until their succes-
|
|
|
|
sors shall be in like manner appointed, and whose duty it shall
|

be to examine and make written report to the county commis-
|
missioners
|
|
|
sioners once a month in respect to the state of the public roads
|
|
|
|
and bridges in such district, where and what repairs or improve-
|
|
|
|
ments are necessary, and how the work of general repair under
|

the road supervisor of said district is going forward.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from
|

|
|
AN ACT to repeal section thirty-three, of article seventeen, of the
|
|
|
|
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Prince George's county," sub-
|
|
|
|
title "Birds and Game," and to re-enact the same with amend-
|
|
|
|
ments.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That section thirty-three, of article seventeen, of the Code of
|
|
|
|
Public Local Laws, title "Prince George's county," sub-title "Birds
and Game," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, so
|

.as to read as follows, to wit :

33. It shall not be lawful for any person in said Prince George's
|
|
|
|
county to shoot, kill, catch or in any way entrap any partridge or
|
|
|
|
quail or rabbit in said county between the twenty-fourth day of
|
|
|
|
December and the first day of November; nor any woodcock be-
|
|
|
|
tween the first day of September and ttie first day of November
|

|
|
|
following; and between the twenty-fourth day of December and
|
|
|
|
fifteenth day of June following; nor any robin between the first
|
|
|
|
day of April and the first day of November; it shall be lawful to
|
|
|
|
kill, catch, trap and destroy English sparrows in said county at
|
|
|
|
any and all times.
