CHAPTER 476.
|
|
|
|
AN ACT for the better protection of fish, crabs, oysters and ter-
|
|
|
|
rapins in the waters of Talbot county.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That it shall not be lawful for any one but citizens and residents ,
|
Unlawful.
|
|
|
of Talbot county, at any time to take or catch fish in the waters
|
|
|
|
of Talbot county.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall not be lawful for any
|
|
|
|
one but citizens and residents of Talbot county to take or eaten
|
|
|
|
crabs, oysters and terrapins in the tributaries of the Choptank
|
Unlawful.
|
|
|
river lying solely in Talbot county between Chancellor's point
|
|
|
|
and Oxford.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That it shall not be lawful for the
|
|
|
|
citizens and residents of Talbot county, or for any one else, at
|
|
|
|
any time to take or catch fish with haul seines at any time in the
|
Unlawful.

|
|
tributaries of the Choptank river lying solely in Talbot county
|
|
|
|
between Chancellor's point and Oxford.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That any person violating any of
|
|
|
|
the provisions of this act shall upon conviction thereof before
|
|
|
|
any justice of the peace of Talbot county, for each and every
|

offense be fined the sum of twenty-five dollars, and stand com-
|
|
|
|
mitted to the county jail until fine and costs are paid.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the
|

CHAPTER 477.
|

|
|
AN ACT to repeal section thirteen, of article fifty-six, of the
|
|
|
|
Code of Public General Laws, title " Licenses," sub-title "Bro-
|
|
|
|
kers," and to re-enact the same with amendments.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That section thirteen, of article fifty-six, of the Code of Public
|
|
|
|
General Laws, title "Licenses," sub-title "Brokers," be and the
|
Repeal
|
|
|
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :
|
|
|
|
SEC. 13. Any person applying for the same, and paying the
|
|
|
|
sum of twenty-five dollars, may obtain a license for carrying on
|
Broker's
|
|
|
the business of real estate broker; this section not to apply to
|
license.
|
|
|
Baltimore city.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from
|
|
|
|
the first day of May, in the year eighteen hundred and ninety.
|
Effective.

|
