SEC. 63. And be it enacted, That whenever a tax, other than a

dog tax is levied, the same shall be placed in the hands of a col-
|
|
|
|
lector appointed for the purpose, or one of the bailiffs, in the dis-
|
|
|
|
cretion of the commissioners, and bond shall be given by said

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section one

hundred and eighteen, of article twenty-five, of the Code of
|
|
|
|
Public General laws, title "County Commissioners," sub-title
|
|
|
|
"Public Landings," and to re-enact the same with amend-
|
|
|
|
ments.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That section one hundred and eighteen, of article twenty-five, of
|
|
|
|
the Code of Public General Laws, title "County Commissioners,"
|

sub-title "Public Landings," be and the same is hereby repealed

|
|
|
and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as follows :

118. In all cases when the public convenience requires it the

|
|

county commissioners shall have power to establish a public land-
