CHAPTER 431.


AN ACT to prohibit the issuing of licenses to sell spirituous or


fermented liquors within one-fourth mile of Green Field mills,


in Frederick county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,


That it shall be unlawful for the clerk of the circuit court for

Frederick county, to issue any license to any person to sell spiritu-


ous or fermented liquors or lager beer at any place within Fred-


erick county, within one-fourth mile of Green Field mills, in

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the


date of its passage.

CHAPTER 432.


AN ACT to pay Charles T. Cockey a sum of money for work


done and material furnished for fencing one-half of line fence


between his property and the property of the State, viz : Pikes-


ville arsenal.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Courts," by adding
an additional section thereto to follow section one hundred and
sixty-nine of that article, and to be known as "Section one
hundred and sixty-nine A."
