CHAPTER 429.

AN ACT to add an additional section to article twenty-seven, of
|
|
|
|
the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Crimes
|
|
|
|
and Punishments," designated as "Section two hundred and
|
|
|
|
eighty-eight A."
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That an additional section designated "two hundred and eighty-

General Laws of Maryland, title "Crimes and Punishments," to
|
|
|
|
follow after section two hundred and eighty-eight and to read as

follows :

288 A. In any indictment for the unlawful sale or disposition
|
|
|
|
of spirituous or "fermented liquors or lager beer, it shall not be
|
|
|
|
necessary to specify the particular variety, provided the indict-
ment sets forth an unlawful sale or disposition of intoxicating
|

before trial, may obtain a statement of the particular variety of

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from

CHAPTER 430.
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to give the sanction of the General Assembly of Mary-
|
|
|
|
land to a gift in the will of Eobert Johnson to the trustees of
|
|
|
|
the congregation of the disciples of Christ, in the city and pre-
|
|
|
|
cincts of Baltimore.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That the sanction and assent of the said General Assembly be
|
|
|
|
and is hereby given and granted to the gift in the will of Eobert
|
Assent.
|
|
|
Johnson, of Baltimore city, to the trustees of the congregation of
|
|
|
|
the disciples of Jesus Christ, in the city and precincts of Balti-
|
|
|
|
more, of one-half of all the rest, residue and remainder of the
|
|
|
|
estate.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from
|
